SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Wilton® foodcrafting supplies:
    Candy Melts candy: Light Cocoa, Red, Dark Green & Black
    Cordial Cups candy mold
    Round cut-outs fondant cutters (medium used)
    9" x 13" x 2" non-stick sheet pan
    15" parchment triangles
    Holly Mix sprinkles
  • Scissors

DIRECTIONS:

1. Make hat top. Melt Candy Melts candy according to package directions. Fill cordial cup mold with melted light cocoa, red and green Candy Melts candy. Allow to cool in refrigerator until set. Gently twist mold to release candy.
2. For hat brim, place medium Cut-Out on pan and fill 1/8" thick with melted matching Candy Melts candy. Allow to cool in refrigerator until set.
3. Using cut parchment bag, attach brim to bottom of hat top with melted matching Candy Melts candy.
4. Melt black Candy Melts candy according to package directions. Using cut parchment bag and melted black Candy Melts candy, pipe hat band, 1/8" wide. Allow to cool in refrigerator until set.
5. Using cut parchment bag and melted black Candy Melts candy, attach mix sprinkle to hat. Allow to cool in refrigerator until set.
6. Stack and attach hats using melted Candy Melts candy.
