It holds down heavy-duty fabrics as well as felt with ease, and never comes undone. I've even bonded fluffy fabrics with it without any problems. It's also the easiest to separate from the backing paper, as it is more dense than others that are more web-like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HeatnBond is wonderful! I used this product to create felt banners and "signs" for my Church. It's so simple to use. Just iron HeatnBond onto the felt, draw reverse image on the paper backing, cut out image, peel away paper backing and iron the "appliqué" into place. I ironed as many as 4 layers of detailed pieces to create my banners. The level of accuracy you can achieve with the cutting is wonderful. About 4 years ago, I created two 3'x5' banners of Jesus with a circle of children under a tree with a Celtic Cross on one side. They still look great. I used a permanent marker to "outline" the characters and add eyes, etc. HeatnBond is still bonding; even the little pieces are held securely in place.
