This foil applicator gives professional and gorgeous foil effects that amplifies the look of your DIY projects. It has six settings, four rollers and motor directions going forward and reverse. You can choose from a number of items from Heidi Swapp to embellish or create your own design by simply printing from a toner based printer such as a laser printer, sold separately.

I had high hopes but results were lackluster.
I bought this to foil some invitations I was making for my daughter’s first birthday. I have a laser printer at home so thought it would be easy enough to do 35 invites. Unfortunately, after trying no less than 8 different ways, I was unable to get any consistent results and the foil went on splotchy showing the black ink through in places. I watched many YouTube troubleshooting videos which suggested printing in monochrome, using smoother paper, printing at a print shop, etc and still no luck. In fact, my worst results were the print shop printed versions. I really wanted to like this machine and had high hopes but unfortunately it just doesn’t perform.

Nice Addition to my craft studio
I absolutely love this thing! What a great addition to my studio for enhancing cards or scrapbook pages. I love that I can just use my laser printer, or the MINC toner ink with my Stampin'Up! products.

Good machine but do you research on how to user it
I like the machine. I did not do my research you need special toner based medium to get the foil to activate with the heat. Once I got that, i love it
