The very best rag snips ever!
I have owned a pair of these particular rag snips going on four years now. I have snipped an incredible amount of rag quilts over that time, and the snips are still going strong. I have never had to sharpen them, only a drop of oil once in awhile. These snips have cut through every thickness of fabric I have tried. I couldn't say enough good about these! I have highly recommended these to many quilters with like success. As far as I'm concerned they don't get any better than this. They are much more comfortable that scissors and don't wear your hand out.
Not worth the $$
The first pair of this particular brand of scissors that I bought did not cut at all. I couldn't cut through anything. I returned them for another pair assuming that they were defective. The second pair cut wonderfully and I finished a denim rag quilt in no time. When I went to cut my second quilt, must to my surprise, the scissors would barely cut. They were not dropped or damaged at all in the meantime. Why?? I had them professionally sharpened and the screw tightened and they are absolutely NO better. I couldn't even find a contact on the internet where I could return them for a professional sharpening by the company. What a disappointment. $30 and all I was able to do was cut one quilt.
Great For A While
These snips worked wonderfully for 4 1/2 rag quilts but became started to lose much of their sharpness half way through the fifth quilt. I also had problems with the blue rubber handle covers sliding off while using, finally had to remove them all together. The little latch/lock also refused to stay in a flat position and often fell into the springs, so that I'd have to stop clipping and push it flat again. So, while these were wonderful initially, I wouldn't purchase again.recommend them.

Amazing snips
I was making my first rag quilt when I ordered these snips. I had used a pair of scissors on the first quarter of it and my hands were so sore. When I got these out of the box, I was amazed at how fast and easy they were to use. I finished the quilt in less time with the snips and my hands didn't hurt. Don't waste your time or money on anything else.
Great for rag quilts!
I have purchased all kinds of scissors and snips. These are by far the best! My hand has hurt for days from all the others I have tried. I used these for the first time and they are GREAT! If you make rag quilts, get these!! Don't waste your time on anything else. Thanks
best ever
I have to say I was very hesitate in purchasing these, but when I used them I was so suprised. So easy to use. they clip thru 4 to 6 layers with ease. I will never make another rag quilt without these. They are wonderful. I will recommend these to all my friends - A true must have for quilters. So glad I took a chance on them.

I highly recommend these snippers to everyone. I use mine on rag quilting and they cut through fabric with ease! I am going to buy another one just to have on hand. I wouldn't use any other kind than these. Thanks so much!
