DIRECTIONS:

Garland:

1. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the loom for placing the bands to create a single row.

2. When the row is finished, place a cap band on the last peg. A cap band is created by wrapping a single band around the peg four times. Use the hook to fold the bands, as indicated on the loom instructions.

3. When the top band is reached, use the hook to pull the whole row off the loom, keeping the hook looped through the top band.

4. Repeat step 1.

5. Place the top folded bands from the previous row onto the last peg on the loom.

6. Repeat step 2.

7. Continue this pattern, switching colors as desired until the garland reaches 10 feet in length.

8. End by using another band to create a slip knot through the top bands.

Candy Cane Ornament:

1. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions  on the loom for placing the bands to create a single row. Alternate colors to create the striped pattern.

4. End by using another band to create a slip knot through the top bands.

5. Use the hook to weave the slip knotted band back through a third of the row. Add another band by creating a slip knot to the end of the woven band.

6. Bend the piece to create the candy cane shape.

7. Hang the ornament on the tree by the top band.

Wreath Ornament:

2. When the row is finished, place a cap band on the last peg. A cap band is created by wrapping a single band around the peg four times. Use the hook to fold the bands, as indicated on the loom instructions.

9. Tie the two slip knotted bands together to create a bow for the bottom of the wreath.

10.  Add a band to the top of the wreath with a slip knot.

11. Hang the ornament on the tree by the top band.

 Colorful Icicles:

1. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the loom for placing the bands to create a single row. For shorter icicles only place ten bands long. For longer icicles, create an entire loom length. Alternate colors as desired.
