Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classis Look Adds just the right touch of "country" to my kitchen. Wish I had ordered more than 3 yards when it was available online!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from fabric is what I intended wasn't happy with the cu I love the fabric and Even though it warned me when I was ordering that it could be cut into different lengths It will end up being cut into four different pieces. I debated whether or not to return it but I was making some curtains so I was able to use them for a different window other than my original intent I want to order some more because I need to make the two curtains that are originally ordered the material for. I am going to order This again but like I said I hope that it's only cut in one length no more than two.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works up beautifully I've used this fabric and the lighter burgundy check for making rag rugs and placemats. This is a a softly woven fabric so, I first wash in hot water and dry on very hot. I do not want shrinkage afterward. My items came out great. The color did not bleed out much. There are often weaving flaws in the bolt, but that is not a bother for my use. Look it over in the store if it will be a problem for your project.

Rated 0 out of 5 by from Prodigiously Disappointing I loved this fabric-- rusty burgundies can be difficult to find. Unfortunately, this one bleeds and shrinks so badly when washed or even rinsed that it's unusable. I tried a color fixative (Retayne) with the same results. After washing, the fabric also loses most of its life and becomes limp, fuzzy, and seersuckerish. On the other hand, if you're going for a faded and rustic look for a costume, this is the item for you-- just be prepared to wash separately.

Rated 0 out of 5 by from Bleeder! This fabric is a bleeder.... Washed three times & still turning everything else pink! (I put white rags in wash with fabric to test.) I was going to use this in a quilt - but thank goodness I didn't - I'd never be able to wash the quilt without ruining the light colors in it!
