  • Purl Essence Rainbow Classic (100% acrylic; 615 yds):
    Black (A) – 1 ball
    Bright Violet (B) – 1 ball
    Bright Pink (C) – 1 ball
  • US Size 9 24" circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors

STITCH GUIDE
Honeycomb
(multiple of 6 sts + 2)
Row 1 (RS): With A, knit.
Row 2: With A, purl.
Rows 3 & 5: With B, * k5, sl 1 p-wise wyib; rep from * to last 2 sts, k2.
Rows 4 & 6: With B, p2, * sl 1 p-wise wyif, p5; rep from * to end.
Row 7: With A, knit.
Row 8: With A, purl.
Rows 9 & 11: With C, k2, * sl 1 p-2ise wyib, k5; rep from * to end.
Rows 10 & 12: With C, * p5, sl 1 p-wise wyif; rep from * to last 2 sts, p2.

Rep Rows 1-12 for patt.

THROW
With A, cast on 120 sts. Next row (RS): Knit. Work even in Garter st for 9 more rows.

Beg Pattern
Row 1 (RS):
With A, k5, work Row 1 of Honeycomb patt to last 5 sts, k5.
Row 2: K5, work in patt to last 5 sts, k5.
Continue as established, until Throw measures approx. 46" ending with Row 2 or 8 of patt.
With A, knit 10 rows.
Bind off all sts.

FINISHING
Weave in all ends.
