DIRECTIONS:
Ch 37.1st row: (RS). 3 dc in 7th ch from hook (counts as 1 dc, ch 1 and skip next 2 ch). *Ch 1. Skip next 2 ch. 3 dc in next ch. Rep from * to last 3 ch. Ch 1. Skip next 2 ch. 1 dc in last ch. Turn.
2nd row: Ch 3 (counts as dc). 2 dc in first ch-1 sp. *Ch 1. 3 dc in next ch-1 sp. Rep from * to last turning ch sp. Ch 1. 3 dc in turning ch sp. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 4 (counts as dc and ch 1). *3 dc in next ch-1 sp. Ch 1. Rep from * to last group of 3 dc. 1 dc in top of turning ch. Turn.
Rep last 2 rows until work from beg measures approx 60". Fasten off.
Fringe: Cut lengths of yarn approx 14" long. Taking 2 strands tog, fold strands in half and knot into fringe at left and right edges of Bed Scarf. Trim fringe evenly.

I searched and tried several patterns to use with my Bernat velvet plus yarn. While this pattern did not call for the velvet, I used it anyway. What a delightful surprise!

Crochet a Bed Scarf
Love the look of the bed scarf. Can't wait to get started. I could not print the directions from the site but just as easy to cut and paste the directions and picture to a word doc and print.
