A Ribbon Tassel Keychain

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Variety of ribbon, yarn, embroidery floss, leather cording
• Keychain ring
• 5/8" heavy-duty jump ring
• Jewelry pliers
• Small bells
• Scissors
• Glue
• Ruler

DIRECTIONS:

1. Cut 12" lengths of ribbon, yarn, embroidery floss and leather cording.
2. With ends aligned, create a bundle.
3. Wrap a piece of yarn around the center of the bundle and knot.
4. Open the heavy-duty jump ring and place it at the center of the bundle.
5. Fold bundle in half.
6. Wrap a piece of ribbon around the bundle, ¾" from top. Tie a knot. Repeat 2 times. Add a drop of glue to the knot to ensure a strong hold.
7. Trim ends.
8. Tie small bells sporadically throughout tassel for added interest.
9. Attach jump ring to keychain ring.
