18" ROUND PILLOW WITH CIRCLE CENTER

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 5/8 yd. of 54" Fabric (1 yd. 44" Fabric)
  • Fiberfill
  • Basic sewing supplies
  • Sewing machine

DIRECTIONS:

  1. For pillow front, cut 2 pieces 29" L x 8" H and a 6" circle.
  2. For pillow back, cut 1 19" circle.
  3. Mark centers of each side and mark circles in 4 equal points.
  4. With right sides together, sew both of the 8" sides together.
  5. Gather one side and pull gathers tightly.
  6. Sew gathered side to 6" circle, matching seams and markings.
  7. With right sides together, sew front to back, leaving an opening for turning.
  8. Clip curves and turn right side out.
  9. Stuff pillow as desired and slip stitch opening closed.

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 5/8 yd of 54" Fabric (1 yd. 44" Fabric)
  • 1 yd Cording
  • 2 1 ½" Cover buttons
  • Fiberfill or 18" round pillow form
  • Basic sew supplies

DIRECTIONS:

  • Cut 2 19" circles for pillow front and back.
  • Cut enough 1 ¾" bias strips from fabric to make 62".
  • Fold bias strips over cording and sew to pillow front using ½" seam allowance.
  • With right sides together, sew front to back, leaving an opening for turning.
  • Clip curves and turn right side out.
  • Stuff pillow or insert pillow form and slip stitch opening closed.
  • Follow manufacturer’s directions to cover 2 buttons.
  • Sew buttons to center of pillow front and back.
