    Tip 5 (2 needed)
    Tip 12 (3 needed)
    Disposable Decorating Bags
    9” Straight Spatula
    Large Creamy White Decorating Icing (12 cups needed)
    Color Right™ Color Performance System
  • Other Supplies
  • Your favorite cake mix or recipe (4 to 4-1/2 cups needed)
    COLORS TINTED:
  • Blue: 2 cups icing + 40 B + 1 BK
  • Pink: 2 cups icing + 30 P
  • Purple: 2 cups icing + 34 P + 14 B + 8 CR + 2 BK
  • Teal: 2 cups icing + 8 B + 2 Y
  • Yellow: 2 cups icing + 10 Y + 2 O
  • Orange 2 cups icing + 16 O + 16 Y + 2 R

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Bake and cool cupcakes.
  2. Tint icing using formulas above.
  3. Prepare decorating bag with tip 2A and white icing; pipe cone in center of each cupcake.

    Blue cupcakes
  1. Prepare decorating bag with tip 21 and blue icing; starting at the base of the cone, pipe lines up, easing pressure as you reach the top. Repeat until cupcake is covered.
  2. Pipe pull-out star at top center of cupcake; pipe 3 pull-out stars on each side.
  3. Prepare decorating bag with tip 5 and pink icing; pipe flower.
  4. Prepare decorating bag with tip 5 and orange icing; pipe orange dot on flower.

    Pink cupcakes
  1. Prepare decorating bag with tip 12 and pink icing; starting at the base of the cone, pipe lines up, easing pressure as you reach the top. Repeat until cupcake is covered. Pipe 2 pull-out dots on top of each side.
  2. Using decorating bag with tip 5 and orange icing, pipe bow.

    Multi-Colored Cupcakes
  1. Prepare decorating bag with tip 12 or 21. Stripe bag with three colors of icing, adding small amounts of each color. Starting at the base of the cone, pipe lines up, easing pressure as you reach the top.
