SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 4 or 5 Zucker Feather Products® White Marabou Boas
  • White Sweatshirt
  • Yellow Tights
  • Set of Yellow Rubber Kitchen Gloves
  • Red Fabric
  • Basic Sewing Supplies
  • Poly-fil or Cotton Fiberfill

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cover a sweatshirt with boas. Start sewing around the neck on one side and move back and forth in rows, sewing the boa into place. After both the front and back are covered, sew boas around each arm of the sweatshirt.
  2. To make the hat, cut out two comb pieces from red fabric using the provided pattern. To print the pattern, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above).
  3. Pin the two fabric pieces together and sew around the edges, leaving the bottom unsewn.
  4. Turn the comb inside out and stuff with poly-fil or cotton stuffing.
  5. Tucking the raw edges under, pin the comb onto a stocking cap and sew down.
  6. Pull some yellow rubber gloves over feet or cut to fit over shoes. Cover the tops with some yellow tights. To complete the costume, put on the sweatshirt and hat.
