Rated 5 out of 5 by from Using cotton yarn makes a bag that won't stretch o Using the yarn they suggest is going to make a bag that will stretch out. Cotton yarn is the best. You can put groceries in it and the bag won't stretch out. Unless you are going to put something heavy in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Make I was glad someone pointed to the title for the yarn. I used Lily Sugar ‘n Cream and it came out very well. To the person who asked if you repeat twice for both sides, the answer is no. The pattern is written in rounds so you are making both sides at once. The nice feature with the Lily Sugar ‘n Cream is that it stretches and is extremely strong. I made one for a woman in our church who bakes and cooks for people and I filled it with a 5 lb sack of flour, a 5 lb sack of sugar, an oven mitt, several packages of yeast (She bakes bread), several take out containers and a package of chocolate chips. It all fit!

Very cute project but this is a good example where quotation marks in a heading would help people understand that is the type of yarn required for this project. “Renewal Yarn” stats: Content: 100% [recycled] Acrylic Guage:3 Needle size: US 6/4mm 23 sts 4"x4" 12 R Crochet Size: : US 7/4.5mm 15SC 4"x4" 6R
