GAUGE: Gauge is not critical for this project.
RED HEART® Scrubby™, Art. E833 available in solids 3.5 oz (100 g), 92 yd (85 m), prints 3.0 oz (85 g) 78 yds (71 m) balls

DIRECTIONS:

SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS
kfb: Knit 1 front and back (increase) Knit next st, then knit it through back loop.

Scrubby measures 6" [15 cm] wide x 7" [18 cm] long.
BODY: With A, cast on 3 sts.
Row 1: Kfb in each st - 6 sts.
Row 2: Knit.
Row 3: Kfb in each st - 12 sts.
Row 4: Knit.
Row 5: [Kfb, k1] 6 times - 18 sts.
Row 6: K1, [place marker, k2] 8 times, place marker, k1.
Row 7: [Knit to 1 st before marker, kfb, slip marker] 8 times, knit to end - 26 sts.
Row 8: Knit.
Repeat Rows 7-8 until piece measures 3" [7.5 cm] from beginning.
Bind off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
DOTS (make 6): With B, cast on 3 sts.
Row 1: Kfb, k1, kfb - 5 sts.
Row 2: Knit.
Row 3: K2tog, k1, k2tog - 3 sts.
Bind off, leaving long tail.
HEAD: With B, cast on 8 sts.
Rows 1-3: Knit.
Row 4: K2tog, k4, k2tog - 6 sts.
Row 5: Knit.
Row 6: K2tog, k2, k2tog - 4 sts.
Row 7: [K2tog] twice - 2 sts.
Bind off, leaving long tail.
ANTENNA: With B, cast on 6 sts.
Bind off, leaving long tail.
FINISHING: Using long tails and following photo, sew side edges of Body together to make a circle.
Using 2 strands of B, backstitch down center of Body.
Sew Dots to Body. Sew Head to Body. Sew center of Antennae to top of Head.
Weave in ends.
