  1. Place a wavy line of glue just below the rim of pot, about 1" wide, and smooth with sponge brush.

  3. Begin wrapping the pot with your first color of yarn. It should be snug against the sides of the pot, but not tight.

NOTE: You may have to hold the yarn onto the pot for the first couple of rows, but then it should stay in place by itself. As you continue to wrap the yarn around the pot, add more glue in 1" sections, smoothing with brush as before.

  4. If making stripes, cut yarn after making first stripe, add an extra drop of glue to secure the end and affix the new color to the pot. Continue to wrap as before, lining up the cut ends as you go so the pot has a backside.

  6. Add a thin line of extra glue at the bottom of the pot before beginning the last row of yarn. Cut yarn and stick the final yarn end to the pot, adding an extra drop of glue if necessary. (Photo 5)
