- Stitch marker

6-12 mos 17"
18-24 mos 18"
GAUGE:
17 sc and 20 rows = 4".
DIRECTIONS:
The instructions are written for smallest size. If changes are necessary for larger size the instructions will be written thus [ ]. Note: To join new color, work to last loops on hook of first color. Yoh with new color, draw through loops and proceed with new color. With MC, ch 72 [78]. Join with sl st to first ch, taking care not to twist chain.1st rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each ch around. Join with sl st to first sc. 72 [78] sc.
2nd rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. Rep 2nd rnd until work from beg measures approx 1½". Break MC. Join A.
Next rnd: With A, ch 1. 1 sc in first sc. *Skip next 2 sc. 6 tr in next sc. Skip next 2 sc. 1 sc in next sc. Rep from * to last 5 sts. Skip next 2 sc. 6 tr in next sc. Skip next 2 sc. Join with sl st to first sc. Break A. Join MC.
Next rnd: With MC, ch 1. Skip first sc. *1 sc in each of next 3 tr. Ch 5. 1 sc in each of next 3 tr. Skip next sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Cute as a button!
I found this pattern today and can't wait to get home and make it. I love making crochet items for my grandkids to play with...better than plastic toys!
