DIRECTIONS:

  1. Ornaments measure: 4" x 4" [10 cm x 10 cm] round.
  2. Wrap the yarn (A) or (B) around the Styrofoam® ball making sure there are no gaps creating a solid covering. Every few wraps, tighten and twist the yarn to prevent the yarn from slipping off the ball.
  3. Continue in this manner until the entire Styrofoam® ball is covered. Cut yarn and tuck the end under the wrapped yarn. Glue in place with a small drop of glue.
  4. With (A) and (B) cut a 16" [41 cm] piece of yarn. Fold yarn in half and tie a knot 1¼" [3 cm] from the top loop. Thread the yarn ends through the 3 red buttons (A,) and the 3 white buttons (B). Tie a knot at the bottom of the 3 buttons. Attach the two stands of yarn under the buttons to the wrapped ornament by weaving the strands in and out at the top of the ornament and tie a secure knot under the buttons. Weave in loose ends and secure in place with a small drop of glue under the buttons.
  5. Insert double-pointed knitting needles in the strands of yarn on the front of the ornament. Slip wooden beads over ends of needles.
  6. Insert crochet hook in the strands of yarn on the front of the ornament.
