Dog Floor Pillow
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
  • 2 yds. paw print fleece
  • 1 yd. yellow fleece
  • 1/2 yd. blue fleece
  • Remnant of white and black fleece for eyes
  • 22" zipper
  • 27" pillows (2)
  • 1-1/2 yds. batting
  • Small bag of polyfil
  • Matching thread
  • Basic sewing supplies

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Cut paw print fleece in half lengthwise.
  2. Cut into 2 sections - 34" long x 28" wide for front and back bottom.
  3. Cut yellow fleece in half lengthwise.
  4. Cut 2 sections into 22" long x 28" wide for front and back top.
  5. Pin and sew one each of the paw print and yellow sections together for front using a 1/2" seam.
  6. Cut out 8 feet pattern from blue.
  7. With wrong sides together, pin two feet together and stitch 1/4" from edge leaving bottom open.
  8. Top stitch markings according to pattern. Stuff lightly
  9. Pin and baste to bottom and sides.
  10. Cut 2 each of ear pattern from blue fleece and paw print.
  11. With right sides together stitch using a 1/2" seam. Turn and lightly stuff.
  12. Pin and baste to side of yellow head section.
  13. Cut 2 – large black ovals for eyes, 2 – white circles for eyes, and 2 black small circles.
  14. Pin white circles to large black ovals and stitch close to edge.
  15. Pin the small black circles on white circles and stitch close to edge.
  16. Place the two layered eyes on yellow head and stitch in place.
  17. Cut out circle for nose and stitch in place below eyes.
  18. Draw a light line for mouth and use a zigzag stitch following line.
  19. Pin the two sections for the back together with right sides together along 28" side.
  20. Place pin 3" in from both edges.
  21. Stitch using normal length up to the pin and backstitch. Change stitch length to a basting stitch and continue to remaining pin. Change stitch length to regular stitch, backstitch and finish stitching to end.
  22. Place zipper face down on seam, centering over basting stitch. Stitch zipper in place.
  23. Remove basting stitches.
  24. Layer right side of top to right side of back and batting.
  25. Open zipper for turning.
  26. Stitch a 1/2" seam around body.
  27. Turn and insert pillows.

Bunny Floor Pillow
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
  • 1 yd. bunny print fleece for body
  • 2 yds. gray fleece for head, ears and paws
  • 1/4 yd. pink fleece for contrast of ears, nose & paws
  • Remnant of white & black fleece for eyes
  • 22" zipper
  • 27" pillows (2)
  • 1-1/2 yds. batting
  • Small bag of polyfill
  • Matching thread
  • Basic sewing supplies

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Cut 2 bunny fleece 28" w x 30" long for bottom body.
  2. Cut 2 grey fleece 28" w x 25" long for head and top of back.
  3. Place 1 bunny fleece with right sides together to gray fleece and sew along 28" side using a 1/2" seam.
  4. Cut 2 each, large circle from white, small circle from black and 2 eyelashes.
  5. Cut 1 pink nose.
  6. Layer black circle on white circle and stitch close to edge.
  7. Position eyes on head and stitch around large white circle.
  8. Pin eyelashes around eye and stitch in place.
  9. Pin pink nose to head and stitch close to edge.
  10. Lightly draw line for mouth and zigzag stitch following line.
  11. Cut 2 each, ears from pink and gray fleece.
  12. With right sides together stitch one pink and on gray ear together with 1/2" seam leaving bottom open for turning.
  13. Turn, stuff lightly. On open edge, fold both sides into center forming pleat.
  14. Pin to top of head.
  15. Pin remaining bunny fleece and gray fleece with right sides together.
  16. Place pin 3" in from both edges.
  17. Stitch using normal length up to the pin and backstitch. Change stitch length to a basting stitch and continue to remaining pin. Change stitch length to regular stitch, backstitch and finish stitching to end.
  18. Place zipper face down on seam, centering over basting stitch. Stitch zipper in place.
  19. Remove basting stitches.
  20. Cut 4 each, paws and feet.
  21. Pin 2 paws together with wrong sides together.
  22. Top stitch around paw. Stuff lightly. Stitch center oval on foot according to pattern. Make 2.
  23. Pin and baste to side of body.
  24. Pin 2 feet together with wrong sides together. Top stitch around foot leaving bottom open.
  25. Stuff feet lightly. Stitch center oval on foot according to pattern.
  26. Pin and baste to bottom of body.
  27. Layer right side of top to right side of back and batting.
  28. Open zipper for turning.
  29. Stitch a 1/2" seam around body and head.
  30. Turn and insert pillows.

Frog Floor Pillow
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
  • 2-1/2 yds. frog print fleece
  • 2-1/2 yds. green fleece
  • Remnant of white fleece for eyes
  • 22" zipper
  • 8" x 1/2" Velcro®
  • 27" pillows (2)
  • 20" pillow for head
  • 1-1/2 yds. batting
  • Small bag of polyfil
  • Matching thread
  • Basic sewing supplies

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Cut green fleece in half lengthwise.
  2. Set one section aside. Cut one section 55" long x 28" wide for top.
  3. Cut frog fleece in half lengthwise. Set one section aside for later.
  4. Cut a piece 32" long by 28" wide from frog print.
  5. Round the two top corners of the frog print.
  6. Place frog print on top of green fleece having bottom even. Top stitch around print close to edge.
  7. Center velcro onto green top section and stitch in place.
  8. Cut 8 feet using pattern.
  9. With wrong sides together, pin two feet together and stitch 1/4" from edge leaving bottom open. Make 4.
  10. Stuff lightly. Pin and baste to both sides and bottom.
  11. Cut the long piece of frog print into 2 sections. 1 – 33" long x 28" wide and 1 – 23" long by 28" wide.
  12. Pin with right sides together along 28" side.
  13. Place pin 3" in from both edges.
  14. Stitch using normal length up to the pin and backstitch. Change stitch length to a basting stitch and continue to remaining pin. Change stitch length to regular stitch, backstitch and finish stitching to end.
  15. Place zipper face down on seam, centering over basting stitch. Stitch zipper in place.
  16. Remove basting stitches.
  17. Layer top, back and batting.
  18. Open zipper for turning.
  19. Stitch a 1/2" seam around body.
  20. Turn and insert pillows.

  21. To make frog head, cut a 21" square from green fleece, frog fleece and batting.
  22. Cut 2 large white eyes and 3 large eyes from green.
  23. Cut 2 small eyes from black.
  24. Cut 2 large circles from batting.
  25. Center a black circle in the large white circle and stitch close to edge. Make 2.
  26. Layer this with batting and green circle in back. Stitch close to edge. Make 2.
  27. Cut a large green circle in half and place one half on top of each eye and stitch around outside.
  28. Place these two eyes onto one green square. Stitch across straight line of eyelid to secure to head.
  29. Mark with a light pencil a line for mouth and stitch using a close zigzag stitch.
  30. Center the loop side of Velcro to center of back of pillow and stitch in place.
  31. Layer the front, back and batting and stitch 1/2" seam leaving an opening for turning and inserting pillow form.
  32. Turn. Insert pillow form.
  33. Stitch opening closed.
