I bought quite a bit of this to make a shirt for my husband, but also used it to make quilted placemats for a gift. It worked out wonderfully for the placemats. I followed the natural printed lines for the quilting. I also plan to use this to make matching pajama pants for my son and grandson.
Nice fabric for decor - I bought it at the store. Came back to the web for more when the store ran out - it was $6.99 to $7.99 for the last year. Waiting for it to go on sale - Surprise! First they raised the price to $9.99, then it goes "on sale" for the old price. Ridiculous, Joann. DO you think your customers are brain-dead?
Bought this for a quilt but decided to make a tote bag. bag. People have admired it. I have made 4 tote bags and sold them all for a fair price. One problem I paid full price for the fabric.
I ordered this fabric priced at $2.09 yd. without any plans for it, but it was such a good deal. I ended up making a shirt for my husband and one for myself. This fabric is easy to work with, and if you take it straight from the dryer, you don't even have to iron it. It hangs nicely, like rayon, but easier to care for. Love it!
My only criticisim is I received a 'flawed' piece of fabric, ordered 3 yards, it was 'pieced' together, but was able to work around it and I only paid $2.09 a yard, so that was good--I have an awesome Hawaiian shirt for $6.18 and love the feel of the fabric--very nice.
