Tossed Branches Batik
I made 2 twin extra long quilts with this fabic. When I first purchased this 2.5 yards I didn't have this idea in mind so additionals purchases of the same fabric had different dye lots; fortunately the second 2.5 yards purchase was very similar but two addtional backing purchases varied significantly. It's a beautiful batik but be sure to buy enough to complete your project because it appears to be sufficiently popular that matching is definitely an issue. JoAnn please use better quality control in your batiks -- at $13 a yard this is not a cheap fabric and should offer better quality control.
Very Disappointed!
I ordered 8 yards of this fabric for the backing for my daughter's wedding quilt. Joanns sent it to me in 2 pieces, a 6 yard piece and a 2 yard piece. The 2 pieces were from different bolts and dye lots and didn't match at all. Joanns would do nothing for me because I had washed the fabrics, thinking I could use them together. Very, very displeased with Joanns quality control. So if you need fabric to totally match, go to the store, do NOT order online!!
