How To Get It
Maintain contents at the right temperature, using the The Warm Company Insul Bright Polyester Fabric. Deep, polyester fibers of this insulating utility fabric are needle punched through a non-woven substrate and through a reflective metalized poly film. The breathable, needled material retains its form even after washing, while the deep fibers prevent conduction and the reflective metalized poly film prevents radiant energy. This way, the hot or cold energy is reflected back to its source, maintaining the hot or cold temperature of the contents. You can use this versatile fabric for making insulating bags or totes, lunch bags, potholders or grocery bags.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Steel Door Insulator you can make !!!! For anyone who is dreading the heat loss and/or the drafts this winter through your steel doors; 'slipcover' it'!!! Fuse a layer of Insul-Brite and white/ivory/ecru vinyl [to match your woodwork] with spray adhesive (777) after measuring and cutting to fit the perimeter of your door. I actually cut the panels wide enough to cover half the moulding around the doors to ensure less drafts. If you have a window and want the winter view, cut an opening to fit and tape an insulating layer of heavy plastic over the window before 'installing' your 'slipcover". I used 18-20 rectangular magnets (99 cents for 2 at Harbor Freight) to seal the cover to the doors. Yes - you do have to position the cover from the top or bottom in order to cut a star shaped slit to slip your doorknob through - then place the magnets around the entire door's edge. EX: 5 spaced across the top and bottom; 6-9 spaced vertically on door's edge. It looks a bit unglamorous- [after the first winter , I actually spray painted the magnets to match]. We here know our slipcovers and their magnets cut drafts and heat loss A LOT !! Come Spring: store the magnets in a labeled plastic bag "Door to Garage" " Back Door" ,etc., place in a box that you will be able to find come Fall! -then gently ROLL your 'slipcover' for under somebody's bed storage - til next Fall. Stay warm; stay well ~
