IRIS® Open Top File Storage is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Well made, but they do not hold 12 x 12 paper. I made my purchase based on the written reviews. I should have paid closer attention to the dates on the reviews,. they are from 4 and 7 years ago. I assume that the product design has changed since those reviews were written. The inside measurement of this container is exactly 12 inches, these won't hold 12 x 12 paper unless the paper is placed on a diagonal, which is not ideal for storage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT buy I purchased this item thinking I would use it for mags and and paper crafting ideas. Low and behold, it accepts all the 12x12 paper pads and then some. I just want to kick myself b/c I paid full price. Today, they are 40% off and I plan to stock up! If you purchase this item on sale, the value rating is outstanding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for upright paper storage These bins are lightweight, easy to carry, fit well on my bookshelves, and fit the 12x12 paper/cardstock packs perfectly, plus it's wide enough to accommodate a lot of paper at once. I turn the packs upside-down and you can easily finger-flip through them to see what's in your stash, plus they are clear so you can easily see what's inside when it's sitting on a shelf.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Space efficient organization for homeschool books These are big enough to hold 3-ring binders and textbooks. In lieu of using bookends, which are not "child-friendly," I use these to separate our books on the shelf. Each child has their own box which contains their independent work. They can take it down, carry it to the table, and put it back on the shelf when they are done. I also have several that hold the books we are currently reading/studying. If it is a subject with a lot of books, it gets its own box. Otherwise I have the books divided by day. When it is read-aloud time, I take that day's box down and have all the books we need. For storage of tall books, these use space more efficiently than many of the book baskets or cubes on the market. I would mark them as 5 stars if they were prettier. But, they do get the job done and they are considerably cheaper than many of the alternatives. We have one that has cracked - I think it was a bit damaged when we purchased it. I have taped it up with duct tape to keep using it. The other ten we purchased have held up well for the last 6 months, with heavy books and lots of moving them around. All in all, I think it is a good value for space- and money-conscience homeschooling families who need a child-friendly way to corral all those books. :)
