Jacquard's NeOpaque, a light body opaque acrylic paint is designed to cover dark backgrounds with light application. On light backgrounds these paints produce a subtle designer palette alternative to a more intense color scheme. They brush on smoothly, are waterbased, dry cleanable, light fast, and remain soft & flexible when dry. May be painted, stenciled, screen printed, airbrushed (when diluted), and stamped on fabrics, canvas, wood, paper, and more. They may also be added to Lumiere to produce an antique effect.

    Jaquard Paints

    I purchased a box of small bottle of these paints in a variety of colors. I used them on an art quilt piece recently and was very please with the ease of use, coverage on both dark and light colored fabrics. It dried just as they claimed it would. Being an Art Quilt it will not be washed, so cannot attest to it's performance there. The effects produced were just what i was looking for. If you haven't tried these paints, don't be afraid to. And also, a little goes a long way! I'm glad I bought the smaller bottles. I was also able to mix them with an irridescent medium and floating medium with great results. I was after a lighter color and by mixing them on a one to one ratio, I got what I was after. Easy clean up when through.
