Concentrated, powdered, hot water dyes that produce the most vibrant possible results on protein fibers including silk, wool, cashmere, alpaca, feathers and nylon. The only acid involved is the vinegar you add. One-half ounce bottle will color up to two pounds of fiber depending on the depth of shade. In addition to garment dyeing, you can also paint or print with these dyes. Extremely brilliant and colorfast, they produce a uniform dye job and the colors are beautiful, pure, transparent and luscious.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING! YOU MUST TRY IT! I was brought up on Rit dyes but I had a project that I knew Rit wouldn't work for (wrong fabric type) so I had to look for an alternative and was so glad I did! I had a white and gold swimsuit that I dyed with Brilliant Blue and it turned out amazing! The color is so bright and vibrant that I will be doing it again to more swimsuits in a rainbow of colors! You must try this! It works! I used about a gallon of warm water for one suit (not boiling, elastic doesn't like heat), mixed the dye powder in a bowl of boiling water (maybe not bubbling but definitely too hot to touch) then poured it in with the warm water. The suit sat for about 30 minutes like the instructions say (completely submerged) but I knew right away that it was working! Turned out amazing! Look at my after pic! From white to BLUE!
