Crescent Moon
I have cross-stitched about a dozen or more baby blankets as gifts over the years, this has got to be one of the worst EVER...absolutely the worst stamping job and too small of x's. I am very unsatisfied with this product and probably will never order another Janlynn stitch kit again. I can not see myself even completing this project, I would be blind before getting it done! The stamp job is horrible!
A little hard to follow
This is my cross stitch project and only had a 30 min. crash couse of how to cross stitch. It is a stamped pattern and there are some parts it is hard to follow where the x is as some have back stitch lines over them and other stitching I have not figured out yet. I find the contrast on the stars to be very little between the 725 thread and 726 so think it would be easier to have a more contrast or do all same color. I agree that you think this is not going to look good -- too much yellow - you get sick of working with yellow. Still trying to figure out the color of the string that hangs from the from the moon. For a beginner - maybe I bit off more than I can chew - so to speak
Binding Makes a deferance
Thes Quilt as you work on it makes you not to sure BUT! put a Jade green binding around it and it will turn out to be one of your favorites
