I have filled up all the drawers. great space Be good to your self get this one!! it is a lifetime worth getting.. !
back to productFirst let me say - I learned to sew on my grandma's sewing machine, an old one built into a table. So when my mother in law bought me a new sewing machine, I was a little disapointed that they don't come IN tables anymore. I bought this cabinet because it looked large enough to hold everything I need and still looks like a normal peice of furniture. When it is delivered - there are three boxes - all between 30 & 40 lbs. So if you are a small woman or elderly- make SURE you have someone to bring the boxes inside! I managed to put the entire thing together in one evening but I have a lot of technical experience and a power drill - which REALLY helps! It's beautiful when assembled and I look forward to my custom getting my custom insert!
back to productI love this cabinet.... It holds everything I need and is compact. the only problem I have with it is the shelf that the machine sits on is not level. I have to put 1/2 inch wedges under the front of my machine to level it up so the machine specific insert will fit around it properly. there may be a way to fix this but because the shelf is spring loaded I don't know how to do it myself and I don't know where I could take it... any suggestions?
back to productFirst let me start off by saying the Joann associate who helped my husband with a credit card processing problem (their fault) was rude and ruined the whole purchasing experience. She was snotty and my Husband had to waste quite a few of our cell phone minutes(as this was a Birthday gift for me) to get a hold of this snotty woman to tell her to process the transaction again. We got the product and found very few scratches or broken pieces... which we need to call the number to have them replace the parts. The castors are hard to put in BE VERY CAREFUL in assembly with them. All in all it took a few hours to get together but looks BEAUTIFUL and I am very pleased with it. I'm a quilter so it helps to have the extra room with the material.
back to productI received the cabinet as an early Christmas gift. We put it together last night and it is actually a very nice cabinet - very sturdy and very functional. It looks very nice too. There were several scratches on the top and I called the customer service number - they are sending out a whole new piece - I couldn't be more pleased with how very nice people were to deal with and their quick response. It is definitely worth the money.
back to productWow, was I ever surprised when I received my sewing center. It is absolutely gorgeous, fits my Quilt Designer II machine perfectly. The quality of the center is superb and looks like a piece of furniture when closed up. I'd definitely purchase again.
back to productThe Home Spun 3702 with Elegant cherry is so very Beautiful. I love the way it's been designed. I will purchase one so I can have this in my Sewing room, so I won't have to keep using my kitchen table any more or to keep having to go back to the sewing room to fetch any of my sewing tool, and such. I would be able to keep all of my sewing stuff right in the Home Spun 3702 in order for easy access to what ever I would need for sewing projects and such. If there was a higher rating for the Home Spun 3702 I'd give it a 10, but since 5 is the highest rating you have for this product, a High 5 is my rating. Good Job and I complement to whom ever designed this Home Spun 3702. Merry Christmas. Sign: Judith A. Bair
