Caron simply soft
I have ordered a few different yarns, and they are never the same. I don't know if it is Caron's changing, or if they are making them only for Joann's. I ordered the Caron baby brights that used to be pretty pastels, now are very bright, with barely any white in it. After making a square, mostly all you see is a very bright purple. It is pretty, but not for a baby, and looks nothing like what I already have, or the picture.

this yarn is so soft and nice that I have stopped buying cheaper yarn for my afghans. It washes up very well also.

the 4 oz skein, which is the new 'norm' for this yarn, is not a 315yd skein as indicated here. Please Note the above. Caron's Simply Soft is NOT 6 ounces for solids any longer per my own call to customer service. No one seems to want to keep my review posted for some unknown reason! Caron's Simply Soft COLLECTION remains 6 ounces for solids onlly.

babyghans (tm)
This is the ONLY yarn I use for my babyghans (tm) - easy to work with, no special blocking or care - usually have to make two per order (one for wash day) the other for cuddling - babes become totally attached to them! What's up with the 6oz becoming 4 oz?? Not happy with that or the fact it rarely goes on sale!
