Product Reviews:
My mom is working on our family ancestry and she is is using this kit to make a number of family trees. The tree page goes at the front of each album covering a particular family line. The rest of the album chronicals from the most distant relative towards the base of the tree, ie the closest relative of that family name. Since individuals are added to the tree on pop out ovals, it is easy to lay the liniage on the tree in a number of fashions. We were able to place four generations on one tree with some careful placement. The kit also includes wonderful coordinating paper so you can make the surrounding pages flow nicely with the tree. Highly recommended.
back to productThis is a beautiful print on a heavy cardstock with a parchmentlike finish. What I really like about this "kit" is the fact that your ancestry is not printed directly on the tree. Included are 24 punchout ovals (1-7/8" x 7/8") that will allow you to complete your family tree as it fits your family. Nine of these ovals are blank, while the rest are labeled as You, Mother, Father, Grandmother (2), Great-Grandmother (4), Grandfather (2), and Great-Grandfather (4). A detailed chart with instructions on how to build your family tree is included on the printed packaging insert. Loretta reviewer had a great idea in making these as a stand-alone, framed display. I bought mine for inclusion in a family photo album.
back to productI made these for each of my four grown children and their families. Presented framed and each keeps on prominent display! It was easy to make each slightly unique, too!
