LOVE this stuff!!
I've sewed quite a few blankets with this material and every person that's received it as a gift raves about it! I attach a twin size flat sheet to the reverse side and it makes a perfect blanket for both summer and winter. Initially a bit messy until all the edges are sewn, but washes up well. I can't put any fleece type material in my dryer because even on the lowest setting it fries it, so I don't know how it dries in the dryer.

I have this fabric and it is so soft and beautiful, but my plan was to make a blanket for my granddaughter. If it cannot go in the dryer, I'm not sure I want to. Has anyone put it in the dryer successfully?

Great Fabric!
I bought this fabric for one side of a blanket that I made for my 5 year old son. The other side of the blanket is a no-pill fleece lizard print, and we call it the "lazy lizard blanket". I prewashed both fabrics together and had no problems with shedding or color transfer. I finished the edges of the blanket with silk blanket lining that I bought in the store. This blanket has held up very well! My kids and husband fight over who gets to sleep with it. It's very heavy, and would be great for outdoor sports-spectating, since the diamond pattern and thick fabric holds heat very well.

Great for burp cloths and baby blankets
I have made several blanket and burp cloth sets with this as the backing. This is super absorbent when used for burp cloths, and very warm and cozy when used for a blanket. I can't think of any other fabric that I would use. The pattern has faded some, but is still visible. It gets softer every time it is washed. I would highly recommend using this.

Loved it at first.
I bought this fabric to make a baby blanket for my daughter and I loved it! It is so soft and the diamond pattern was my favorite part. The only problem I ran into is after a few washes the pattern dissapeared! The fibers all washed together until it was one solid piece after a few washes. I was very dissapointed that I only got to enjoy the pattern a few times.

Love this fabric!
This fabric is so soft, durable, keeps in warmth well, and stays nice after multiple washes. I made a blanket out of this material for my Daughter and now want to make one for me :)

So Soft!
I've now used this material as backing to three baby blankets that I have given as gifts. There have been rave reviews about the softness and durability of it for children. I did have a problem with it shedding but after one wash and dry it was fine. It also holds up very well in the washer/dryer. I would highly recommend!

Super Soft!
I didnt have a problem w/ the fabric shedding, just a lil stretchy when you sew it. Made a blanket for my neice and she absolutely LOVES it! Now I'm stuck making more for the entire family!!! I highly reccommend this for warm cuddly blankets!
