Product Reviews:
I used 20 yards of this fabric for straight panels in my dining room and a triple-london shade valance in my kitchen. For the price, this fabric is not flimsy and holds up very well to the folds of a london shade. I did not pre-wash as you should never pre-wash home decor fabric for window treatments... if you need something washable this is not the fabric, but you wouldn't wash custom drapery anyway, and since I saved a bundle on making my own custom drapery, I'm very happy.
back to productThis is lovely fabric, but does not have the white background it appears to have in the photograph. It is more of a creamy beige. It's still very attractive, but not what I wanted.
back to productI bought several yards of this fabric to cover a headboard that I was upholstering. It turned out very, very well. I did not wash it, but simply ironed it before stapling it up. It's worked well enough that I'll be using it to cover a cornice board and make a curtain panel in the adjoining bathroom.
back to productFor what it is, it's not bad. If you're looking for an inexpensive fabric that will last 2-3 years with moderate use, then this is the buy for you. I've used this to cover dining room chairs that see use 2x a week. It's lasted well. It doesn't wash or clean well, so choose wisely. Once washed the first time, even if color-saving measures, the color tends to fade quickly in the light. In other words, you get what you pay for!
