Use for making refrigerator magnets; used to be able to just stick them to the back of the yarn magnets - NO MORE, now I need to glue them on using a glue gun. Quality has definitely gone down. I preferred just sticking them on the 200+ magnets by removing the tape from the back. However, even with having to use the glue, it's my cheapest alternative when using a 50% off coupon.

I use these all the time and the magnets work great. You have to sometimes straighten first by bending them backwards. If you're doing something requiring two magnets to adhere to each other, turn one in the opposite direction as the other.....

Useless adhesive backing
The adhesive on this product wouldn't adhere to a varnished surface, or anything else for that matter. Tried putting a layer of Scotch double-backed tape under it and it wouldn't stick to that either. Useless, just useless. Very disappointing.
