I started buying this model sewing machine case 6 years ago. It is large and made to be an either / or type of case: for sewing machine or serger. This particular construction allows spaces on the sides to put foot controller, extra sewing attachments, sewing kit, manual, or what you need that will fit. I now have 5 of them for my sergers and sewing machines, Elna, Pfaff, White and Kenmore., and accessories. Plastic w/metal latches.
