Rowenta 5090 no shut off
Mixed feelings on this iron. Bought it because of the no-turn off feature. Definitely a big advantage for a sewer. Yes it leaks. Best bet is spring water, not tap, not distilled. Use the self clean much more often than recommended in the instructions. Mine lasted just over a year before the leaking finally turned to water pouring out the bottom. The leaking started after about 6 months and got progressively worse. However, I use my iron every day and it is on and off for 6 to 8 hours each day of use. Lets face it, irons have their limits. This one irons beautifully while it lasts. I am purchasing the same iron again as the benefits outweigh the shortcomings for my use.

Bad experience!
I know it's a famous brand for the good quality ot their products. So when I purchased this model I bought it wirh confidence, unfortunately I must say I had the worst experience ever, I had several irons but this one has been the worst so far, the water spills all over and always while ironing I get drops of water in the clothes. I followed the instructions, I wait for the right temperature, while the iron is stand up, the water start leaking from the base... Definitely I will stop using it and buy another. This time the money didn't assure the quality and performance of a product. I do not recommend it.
