Look around
I have bought many of these bags of scrap over the years. You have to go out and really look through the bags that the stores have in-stock to find sizes and thicknesses of leather that you need. I found one bag once that had a piece large enough for me to make a guitar strap. Very good value, but I wouldn't buy it sight unseen.

terrible product
this is nothing like the picture. it came as tons of thin strips that are only maybe good to make jewelry, and the few larger pieces are too thick for anything but leather stamping and almost too thick for that . I returned it. NOT WORTH BUYING
