The fabric is beautiful, however it is extremely dark compared to the sample presented on the website. Since I plan on using it for a backing to an embroderied quilt (white w/similar colors) I am tempted to wash it in warm water in hopes that it does fade. My reservations about this is that the colors will run together and ruin the fabric.
