Beautiful Yarn

great yarn
this is the nicest yarn for the scarfs available. yes, it grabs your cuticles if you have hanging skin, file the skin down and it fixes that problem. the yarn is beautiful, sparkly,and the soft yarn on the bottom looks great and feels wonderful. sometimes you have to spray the yarn with water to straighten out the yarn, to get rid of the folded yarn pieces. it is an easy fix. the finished product looks so good, that i had to go on line to get other colors i can not find in the stores.can not wait until they resupply the sienna brown color yarn, since i already have made 4 in different colors in this brand.

Makes a Beautiful Ruffle Scarf!
I had started purchasing this beautiful yarn due to the fact that Joann stores are always out of Sashay and Starbella yarn. (boooooo). Though a bit more pricey (I use coupons every time) it turns out stunning. Note that this yarn is much shorter in length than what you get with Sashay and Starbella...so if you want long, you'll have to buy two. Also...the yarn in very fiberous (many different fine fibers)... During this icky winter my hands are so dry and chapped so sometimes the fibers 'catch' on my hands (sometimes bothersome). Otherwise, love love love!

Great Yarn
I received a scarf made from this yarn for Christmas and have gotten so many compliments on it. Since then, I have learned to both crochet and knit ruffled scarves. This particular yarn seems to work best for me crocheted rather than knitted. I love it!

Patons Pirouette
The fibers in the edging of this yarn clung to my hands. I had a difficult time knitting it. I contacted the company in Canada with my complaint and one of the ladies in their customer service department checked it and said the fibers did not stick to her hands, but it certainly did stick to mine. I took it to two knitting groups and of the 18 in one group and 13 in another, only one person did not have the problem -- and she is in a wheel chair. I called JoAnn's corporate office and asked them not to carry this brand because it is not JoAnn quality.

love love this yarn but... Joanns web site is a joke!!!! Whats a sale to a returning buyer if you cant purchase sale items on web site. NOT fiar to someone who uses joanns for ALL my craft needs. I guess i need to find another supplier!

I tried knitting the scarf but with my rheumatoid arthritis had too much difficulty. So, I found that crocheting them worked just about as well. Those for whom I made the scarves loved them just as well if not better than the knitted ones. I have used 8 and 10 loops per scarf. The 10 is very full. One skein makes one and a half crocheted scarf. I have made them for over 25 family & friends.
