I ordered a roll of this batting and thought it was very thin. But as all my fabrics are donated to me, I always wash my charity quilts before passing them on. I have made two quilts with this item and they washed beautifully. My quilts are all hand tied and I really like the look. They look old fashioned and cuddly, not a wall hanging item. I am happy with this product.

Thin and disappointing

Because I've used other Pellon batting products in my business from my supplier, who is 100 miles away, I was happy to find a Pellon batting in my local store. It is priced right for charity quilts if you don't mind them to be flatter than a pancake. What a disappointment this batting turned out to be. My quilters do not like it at all. They use two layers in quilts...which reduces the value factor.

I love this batting. My church makes quilts for charity. This is easy to cut, stays in place, great loft. I cannot say enough good things about it. Great buy when it is on sale.

This is a very thin batting. It does not pull apart when you tug on it. It is a good buy when on sale for charity quilts. There is not much stitch definition but is serviceable.
