Not good

Not happy with it, it was not even soft after washing and using fabric softner. it said it weighed 3 oz. but i weighed each skein and some skeins was less than 2 oz. and the others was 2 .3 oz. none was 3 oz. so i am returning what wasnt used for my projects and i will go to wal mart and purchase.

last time I buy it

I usually order the Super Saver yarn but got an ad for Joann's in an email so thought I'd try it. I was dissappointed when I got the Shaded Teals and Blue Jewel but when they came, the Blue Jewel is more of a baby blue and doesn't match it at all. The chart is so far off it should be re-done. I'm going back to the Super Saver yarn which is a better price anyway. I noticed that some of the colors are the same as the classic but a larger selection. I've used the Super Saver for years when making my afghans and some of the colors is rougher than others but when I wash the finished product and use fabric softerner the roughness goes away. I love the Lion Brand Vanna's choice more but it costs around a third more.

Great Yarn!!

I bought the yarn first because I wanted to use it for projects. My sister brought me knitting needles for my for my birthday because I had wanted to learn for years how to knit but never had the chance. But one day I decided to teach myself how to knit. This yarn is super soft. I love it. I was afraid that making a blanket out of it would give me a hard scratchy blanket but it isn't. It's so soft that my neice sleeps on it when she visits me.

No longer my favorite.

I have been using this product since 1975. I crochet. The quality of the yarn isn't what it once was. The starting point can't be found the majority of the time. It's not soft like it had been until recently. I am going to work up what I have here at home. I'm going to pay more money for Love This Yarn. It's softer and doesn't have all the issues that Red Heart Yarn now has. I never would have imagined that this company would have made this perfect product now have too many unnecessary issues. The manufacturer need to return this product to where it was for so many years.

Poor Quality Yarn

I have used Red Heart Classic Yarn to make afghans for years but the last I bought was just terrible. I made a afghan for a wedding gift in Off White Yarn when I finished washed and the fringe all seperated and looks awful. I will not be sending it for the gift and will be looking for a better yarn. I will no longer use Red Heart Classic.
