Truly a Must-Have
These little lamps (especially when on sale at Jo-Ann's) are a great bargain. I own two and will probably purchase a third shortly. They fit anywhere, are easy to turn on and off (just raise or lower the light bulb housing), and provide absolutely wonderful light. I made a quilted carrying case for one of mine, so it is easily transported to retreats and classes. Color definition is perfect with these lights. I just can't say anything bad about them at all!

Fantastic portable light
I bought this in a lovely pink at Joann`s for $30 and feel I got a great deal. Very portable, lightweight,can go anywhere. It is deceiving in that the light does not elevate fron the stand as I expected but only the head moves more vertically to acheive the height stated, and it was impossible for my arthritic hands to get apart to put the lightbulb in, i had to get my husband to do it. Otherwise, I I still give it 4.5 stars.

love this light
I had wanted an ott light for years but didnt want to spend the money. I have been on an ott light purchasing frenzy because the discontinued models are such a wonderful bargain. I purchased this model at joann's for $15.00 and have purchased the clip on and a desk model. I have recommended these lamps to all my fiber arts friends.

Fabulous light!
I purchased this light 5 days ago at a local store. I'm pysched that I found it for $25.00!! What a bargain! I've been using it on my current knitting project which is chocolate brown yarn. What a difference this light makes. I also plan to use it when jewelry making. I highly recommend.

I love this light!
This is the best light that I have ever had for my desk. It provides great light and is comfortable on my eyes. I use it for hours every day and the first bulb is still going strong. I recommend it highly.

Great for make-up application
I have had one of these lamps for 10-12 years and I have never needed to replace my bulb! I use it daily for skin care and applying my make-up. I never have to worry about having too much blush or an unflattering color of lipstick. I tried to get them to make a magnified makeup mirror, lighted by one of these - so I created my own system. Bifocal eyes really need the mag mirror to get eye makeup where it belongs, in the colors that belong.

Outstanding!
I was working with black yarn, making a sweater, and had problems seeing my work. After I purchased this light, I was continuing making the sweater --- I could not believe how easy it was to see the yarn. It makes everything easier to see. I wondered why I didn't buy this years ago.
