Gutermann is EXCELLENT thread! The only brand I use in my sewing machine due to LOW lint & great stitching. I won't use any other brand in my sewing machine & I've been sewing for 48 years! I used to use Coat's & Clark but the lint that forms in the bobbin case is unbelievable! Gutermann is by far the best thread!

I have a mid arm quilt machine, this has been the best thread i've used. No breaking and little lint. Other brands haven't been as smooth.

I do custom sewing and alterations. One of my customers insist I use only Gutermann thread for her items (she supplied the thread). I see why!!!!! Very good quality thread and very little lint. I will use nothing but Gutermann from now on.

I do a lot of fast zig zags (buttonholes, etc) and Dual Duty will often split out of my machine needle. I switched to Gutermann and haven't had a problem since. Strong thread that produces less lint than Dual Duty.
