I also like the keys, but they are VERY hard to get off the packageing. I love the flat back. It would be better if they came with self adhesive glue on the, it's a little hard to glue them down. Thanks to the person who recommended soaking them in water, I'm going to do that now.

I was so amazed when I opened the package and saw how cute the designs are and how heavy they felt. I had purchased three packeages and all three had too much glue. I soaked them in a little warm water and sprayed some cooking spray on them and rubbed with a paper towel and they look fab. If you use an abrasive the finish may come off so I would not use that. I may just have to buy some more.

These are really nice flat backed keys, you get a lot for your money. But they are seriously glued down to the cardboard backing with some industrial glue, so if you want to use them as charms you have to use a solvent or sanding to get the glue and paper off. If you are just planning to glue them down flat to your project then no problem. Don't let that one point deter you from purchasing however, these are really nice quality.

Packaging needs improvement

I purchased two packets of these metal keys and found they make a wonderful addition to my scrap pages and mini books. The only down side is the way they are packaged. They are glued to the card and no matter how carefully I tried to remove them they all came off with clumps of card and paper stuck to them. A thin sheet of plastic would be an easy fix.
