Beautiful bargain!
I purchased this fabric to make window scarves for my guest bedroom. The bedroom is absolutely beautiful with my bargain window scarves to accentuate the room. I did two windows for about $40.00 as opposed to spending $160.00 for ready-made scarves.

Silk Essence Is Wonderful Fabric
I have had at least 30 blouces made out of this fabric. When they come out of the drier I just hang them up and they are ready to wear. I have never worn any of the blouces out.

I used it in making kimonos and samurai hakama, and it worked beautifully. Strong enough for some rough horseplay, light enough for the Florida outdoors, and it sews like a dream.

Perfect for 17th Century Costumes!
I used this material to make the dress for my niece's gypsy costume for Halloween & plan on buying it again for my own renaissance costume! It has the perfect weave to look like a fine material from that era & is surprisingly easy to work with. I love it!

An incredible buy!
I will never use another fabric for lining my garments other than Silkessence. I have used it in silks, challis, wool, twill and just about everthing else. It washes beautifully, NEVER wrinkles, and is a dream for packing. Easy to handle, too, not slippery like acetates. I even made a red sheath out of this fabric and lined it in the same fabric --the result was a gorgeous red silk sheath. It looked like silk! You can't go wrong with this wonderful fabric.

I got the rose color and although it was abit darker then in the pic it's perfect! It feels and acts like silk. I definatly will buy this again!

I made "silkies" and fairy bowers/hideaways for my 7 and 6-year old girls for Christmas. The fabric looks great, sews great and I made them for a third the cost of the genuine silk ones I found on-line. Plus, I was able to customize them for each child. The silkies they use for capes, scarves, or whatever their imagination suggests.
