Product Reviews:
I got the Slice for Christmas. I mainly do card making and this machine is perfect. I use it on almost every card I make. I love how little room it takes up and the value (compared to other electronic die cutters) is fabulous! Can't wait to get the new cards that came out at winter CHA and the embossing option.
back to productI bought the Slice on sale for $129.99 and had a $25 gift card to Joann's from Christmas, so it was well worth it. I have seen this product for $149.99 in a scrapbook store in South Florida, so it's worth it to order from Joann's, they seem to always have sales on it and the accessories. When I started playing with the Slice, it was so easy, and I love the shapes and letters it cuts out. I would eventually like to get the 12x12 glass mat, that way I can have more room if I need to cut out a bunch of letters, but for only one item, the 5x5 glass mat works just fine. I look forward to more accessories for the Slice, like tools, and the bag/carrying case. This product is awesome and worth the money!
back to productI was so excited waiting for it to arrive...so I immediately got busy using it. The only problem I had was figuring out exactly how far to lower the blade for different types of paper...would be easier if they had some way to mark it for different thicknesses. Otherwise I absolutely love it!
back to productI have many of the products out there for scrapbooking, and I can say that I like the slice the best so far. The value is wonderful. Alot less money than sizzix, big shot, and the cricuit. Much better value and quite easy to use. I would recommend this to everyone who enjoys cardmaking, and scrapping. I have scrapbooking classes in my home and I have everyone using this. Excellent value and product!!!!
back to productI recently got the Slice for Christmas and I love it. I only have the basics card that comes with it, but each card offers lots of designs. The only down sides to the Slice are learning how to use the re-positionable glue, the fact that it cuts out each design individually and you have to hold it for each one, and I do have some trouble with it cutting "true" perfect circles when they are smaller. I love the fact that it is portable, light weight and much more affordable than other options. Overall this is a great product!
back to productThe Slice is absolutely wonderful. I am so glad I bought it and I feel you get a lot for your money. It does a wonderful job.
back to productI received my Slice for Christmas. I have been wanting one for a while. I have never used any of the other machines out there, but my friend has a one. I have to say, the ease of use and the availabilty to just pick it up and go was a huge selling point to me. Also to use it without a plug or with was another selling point. I just LOVE my slice! You do have to hold it in place, but you do not have to use alot of pressure. There is hardly any waist, due to being able to move it around - ANYWHERE! I just cannot say enough about the slice. I do notice however, that on the very small cuts, they are not perfect shapes. Not crisp corners, more rounded. But that is the only thing that I have found. I highly recommend the slice!
back to productI purchased Slice and all of the products to go with it before Christmas & I am not at all sorry that I did! I didn't buy it for alpha cutting (which is why I never purchased Cricut). The Slice is reasonably priced and so are the design cards. Compare the prices of other design cards & software & you know it's a lot cheaper in the long run! Their storage book for the discs is fabulous! MM really thought this one out ahead of time, already have a storage book, storage bag & a desk top storage unit for the machine (I put my Xyron Design Runner disks in a separate MM Slice Storage book)! It's way better than I thought it would be and I'm looking forward to the newest 12 discs coming out at the end of Jan.
