Incredible!
This is without a doubt the easiest serger I have ever used/owned. There are many options on the market. This one is so easy to thread, adjust, and sew with almost immediately after removing from the box! Entry level ease of use with professional results. The price is MORE than WELL worth it!

Great Value, Easy to Use!
This is such an easy serger to use! Threading is a snap- it's literally as easy as one-two-three-four. Thread each spool in the order noted by the numbers on the front of the machine, then follow the color coded thread routes. Suprisingly enough, I didnt even need my reading glasses to thread it! I also have the Brother 2340CV coverhem machine. It produces the most professional hems and topstitching you have ever seen. Seriously, between the coverhem machine and this serger, your knitwear will look like it came right off the shelf at the Gap.

Not so Great!
I bought this serger after reading such wonderful reviews! I find that it works great... when it works! Threading it is NOT as easy as all these reviews say. I followed the instructions, read the manual, and watched a video online. It still doesn't work. I am frustrated and I would NOT recommend this machine!

Can't beat the value
This is great machine for the price. It is sturdy and reliable. It is a workhorse on the sewing room. I also own a more sophisticated serger and I will never get rid of my 1034D. The Singer's are not near comparison to this machine.

Fantastic!
I LOVE my serger, I am new to sewing/serging in general. And when I first took it out of the box it was OVERWHELMINGLY scary looking, but I poped in the DVD and now I'm sergering without a hitch! Fantastic! great great value!
