Awesome!
I love it, It is quick and easy to use I was able to turn all those odds and ends of yarn into neat easy to store and use balls, Now my stash is organized and more usable.

I have a Yarn Winder for a number of years now, and I love it. The Yarn Winder saves a lot of time, and frustration as opposed to trying to knit, or crochet directly from the skein of yarn.

Mine is 20+ years old
The winder saves storage space. The "flat" sides stack on top of each other. Take out the yarn from the center and the ball stays by your side and does not roll around. The balls are easier to transport. I use them in the car or on a bus. No fuss!

Whee! Winding yarn is FUN!
Unit arrived missing two screws holding top to bottom, but I fixed with extra screws on-hand. The winder works wonderfully, turning hanks and half-used skeins into neat, easy-to-use center-pull cakes. Now I need a yarn swift!

Super Product, Can't live w/o it!
You definitely need a winder if you use hanks of yarns, otherwise your yarns will be difficult to work with, but you also need to have something to hold the hanks, so this needs to be stressed to the purchaser, that you need to have another item in addition to this product.

I own a Brother version of a yarn winder and I cannot live without it. I cannot ever imagine going back to winding yarn by hand or using balls instead of cakes. They do not knot up or give the problems like skeins do either. Simply, I must have another!

Great Yarn Winder!
This yarn winder is a must have item for the knitting enthusiast. If you buy yarn in hanks, then you know you can't knit with it until it's wound into a ball. Well, take the time and work out of the process with this ball winder. It 'turns' an hour of hand winding into minutes!
