HANG IT UP!
This is a useful item which I ruined by setting on the floor and leaning against the table or wall when not in use. It developed a permanent curve which eventually caused the cutting mat to separate from the ironing pad. All my own fault. Hang it or store it flat.

my favorite ironing board of all time!
I've been sewing since 1970 and love this ironing board, It's perfect with a thick hard backing that is completely covered with fabric. All the other table top ironing units I've usedn I've gone through several different types, have left sweat marks and heat left behind under that ironing unit, this one has never left any heat or water on top of the table top, and I make sure to check! The top is soft enough to iron on with just enough give! I've used it for over a year and it's still my favorite. The grid marks are also very helpful to me, and it's very portable! I really love this!

Great Item!
