A little disappointed
I have not made te placemats yet. I opened the package and examined the directions and the printed batting. My only concern is that the batting is cotton and heavier than I prefer. I am afraid the batting will shrink when it is washed. I am looking forward to putting them togeather

I'm having fun creating these placemats with my sister. We love the June Tailor Quilt as you go projects. This is our 2nd one to work on together. We meet on Skype and she is teaching me how to sew these like a pro that she is.

Quick, easy way to create beautiful placemats! I used scraps of batik fabrics to design the placemats and then added some fancy quilting using my long arm machine. Very impressive!
