I love this and would NOT quilt without it. Each can can help with about 5-7 quilts, depending on size even a California King! With Cotton Batting it works better, than with poly -- Scent *duh* people that write about that -- it's an Aerosal - VERY little scent but of COURSE you would not use it in a closed room - geeze maybe this can should have a Warning - For SMARTER people! Great Price, and after tugging a Cal. King quilt through my harp, I pulled it out and touched up the outer corners, let it dry then was able to easily Quilt those with NO wrinkles! Never pin or hand sew your Quilt Sandwich together again :-) Amazing to work with
This has always worked great for me, even on queen size quilts. It does have an odor, be sure to open your windows, and protect your table top.
works great on the mats for the cricuts. Dont have to buy so many mats
I’ve been quilting (and pinning) for years and decided to try this June Tailor Basting Spray to make my quilting a little easier. LOVED IT!! It sprayed really nice and evenly and unlike what others have said, there was no offensive odor. Repositioning was easy and my layers stayed beautifully in place while quilting. Needle stayed clean through the whole quilt. Had enough to do a full size quilt and a table runner. I won’t be pinning anymore. Will recommend to all my quilter friends.
The smell is horrible!!! Do NOT use around animals or humans!!!!! I would think that Joann's was better than this but I guess I would be wrong. This product is a polutant and should not be used.
When I use this spray or anything like it I take it outside use safty goggles and a charchol filter over my mouth. I'm nightly sensitive to chemicles. I let it sit outside for several hours before using. Here is a sample of what I use it for: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lindielee/5821550397/in/photostream and for this small size of samples it works great, I would not use it on a large quilt becuase of the reasons stated in other reviews.
This stuff would work for small craft projects, but was a didn't work on my queen sized quilt. It doesn't restick. It smells and must be used in a well ventilated area. It doesn't wash off of your hands so I don't see how it can wash out of a quilt. It's not worth it's weight in basting thread or safety pins.
I don't know how you can even sell this stuff. It is the worst product I have ever tried. I didn't spray well, it didn't stick well, it is an embarassment to the quilting world. you should be ashamed to sell it.
