Keepsake Card
by Ana Cabrera
Next time you need to send a greeting, why
not make the card yourself? This keepsake
is not only a touching gesture, it is also a
gift able item in itself.
Supplies:
Purple Cows Kool Laminator-Trimmer kit
Purple Cows Kool Laminating Pockets
Patterned Paper
Stamps
Solvent ink pad (Such as StazOn)
1. Print and trim a photo for the interior of the card. We used a photo that was
2 ? x 3 ?.
2. Carefully open up the laminate sheet. To the adhesive side, adhere the
patterned paper so that it completely covers the adhesive side of the Kool Pocket
with a 1/2 ? overhang on each edge.
3. Trim the patterned paper so that the pack page of the card is flush with the front
clear cover.
4. Adhere the photo to the inner page as shown.
5. Adhere the contrasting card stock to the outside cover as shown. Use stamps and
ink pad to embellish the cover.
6. Write your personal greeting on the inside page. Try to stay behind the
contrasting cover sheet. This will create a nice surprise for your recipient.
