How To Get It
Dritz 1'' Knit Elastic is a useful addition to your sewing kit. The pack contains 1-inch-wide knit elastic. You can use this lightweight, soft and strong elastic on exposed waistbands of clothes, to make straps & headbands, facemask straps, gloves and lots more. This knit elastic does not narrow when stretched and is also not affected by needle-piercing. Stitch this machine washable and dryable elastic on the wrong side of fabrics. Available in a range of colors, each sold separately.

Elastic used in a different way
I purchased this knit elastic because I wanted to hang a blanket from a rod. This was the right width and color as it went with the blanket. It worked well. The blanket was not heavy so the elastic wasn't utilized to its full capacity. Very good quality elastic - did not fray much when cut.

This elastic is very soft and easy to work with. I used it to replace the back of a ball cap and my husband said it was very comfortable. Great product!

Perfect for the cause; Dritz 1" Elastic
I did not use it for an entire waistband, but did put it in small 3" sections in the seam of the back of the skirt. It appears to be fine. I will be making a skirt with the entire waistband made with the Dritz 1" elastic!
